Peter manages IT for planning, workforce management and operations at Vy, Norway (formerly Norwegian State Railways, NSB). His responsibilities include the IT-systems for workforce management, as well as planning, dispatching and reporting on trains and rolling stock. Along with streamlined communications for crew and passengers across the network, Vy has also implemented technology solutions including Automatic Passenger Counting, Passenger Information Display system, Condition Monitoring, CCTV and more. Peter has a Masters in Informatics from the University of Oslo and has worked for the University in Oslo and UNINETT, the academic network in Norway. He has also worked for Hewlett Packard and for 12 years as CIO of one of Norway’s major publishing companies.
Araz Zeighami is the Personnel Planning Manager, Train Division at Arriva Sweden. He has undertaken several roles at Arriva, including driving trains, as well as being a conductor and currently manages a range of personnel issues at Arriva, including collective agreements, sustainable personnel supply and the development of processes and best practice applications. He also coordinates resources and training programs, both internally and externally. Araz has a degree in Sociology from Södertörn University and a Master’s Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Malmö University.
Ben Dvoracek has worked with over 80 transport authorities globally and has knowledge in the technology solutions for rail, including planning and scheduling, and workforce management. He is experienced in connecting transport agencies with solutions that save them time and money, increase safety and make the passenger experience more seamless. Originally part of Trapeze Group North America, Ben joined Trapeze Group Asia Pacific’s Australian office in 2016 and leads the regional Asia Pacific team as well as supporting the Middle East and India.
Antony has worked in the transport sector for 30 years, in business development and customer relationship roles. Initially, he leased aircraft to airlines and developed turnkey maintenance packages for low-cost airlines so they could concentrate on their customers. He now focuses on the rail sector - bidding rolling stock offers to rail operators and financiers, taking responsibility for the performance of turnkey train maintenance packages covering large fleets, and focusing on maximising the value of timetable planning solutions for rail.
Paola Realpozo is the Vice President of Marketing, Trapeze Group Americas. Before that, she held various marketing and program management roles mainly in the rail, public transit and motorcoach industries. Since implementing the very first computer-based train control system at Mexican railroad Ferrosur, she became passionate about technology for transportation and how it creates value to customers’ operations. Paola co-authored a paper, “Condition Based Monitoring for Mainline Power Switch and Interlocking,” that was presented at AREMA, and more recently co-authored Paul Comfort’s book “The Future of Public Transportation” with a chapter on the Future of Passenger Rail in North America. In more recent years, Paola has enjoyed delivering presentations and participating in panel discussions at industry events globally, and writing for industry magazines.
